Lovely book, didn't find any issues with it. It IS quite bulky, but that's what I wanted.

I really love this planner, it's simple, straight forward and exactly what I needed, plus it's environmentaly safe, perfect.

I love this cloth bound planner! I've used the Hardcover planner for the past two years but love this more flexible and adaptive planner for my purposes. I bought one for a friend because we meet every couple of weeks to talk about important things:). Love the monthly overviews and reviews.

This is my fourth year in a row buying my yearly planner from H&O, it’s always beautiful. I love everything about it, the quality, the style the consistency. I honestly never think about buying a planner from any other company.

Receiving my new day planner is one of my favorite times of the year. I love setting out goals and resting into the feeling that everything is going to get done, everything will be okay. I've paired the Minimalist Planner with a blank notebook so that I can keep my project templates separate. From a tech-savvy millennial who has spent years with digital planning apps and even tried a PDF planner on my Remarkable, there is something about good quality paper in a cloth wrap that grounds my energy and feels so delightfully peaceful despite the chaos of my actual schedule and complexity of my role.

I like the layout, which is surprising because I generally like daily planners. But this one works. Having the extra space for notes is very good. The paper is lovely, smooth, no bleed through. A pleasure to write on.

Structured but minimal. Keeps my scattered brain organized. Looks and feels so good that I'm excited to write in throughout the day.

Received this planner about a month ago. I love the cloth flex binding a lot! I love the interior paper as well. I like the size and the layout so far. A slightly smaller size may be more my style but I will know more as I use it! It makes me excited to use it so that’s a huge deal.

Very well made, high quality AND Canadian :D The paper is a great quality. The only reason why I am not putting 5 stars is that I prefer the "hobonichi-type" paper (thinner/softer paper), but if you like sturdier paper, this is THE product for you!

Had the soft cover previously but had to make a cover for it, so this year I jumped to hard cover and love it. Takes my pens and highlighters really well. Use it to plan and keep organized for my classes.

I love how simple and customizable this planner really is. Many planners out there have too much going on and don’t allow me to plan my weeks/months how I would like, but this one does. The quality is unreal and I always feel so put together when I take it out. I love how the weekends are the same size as the weekdays since I don’t work a usual 9-5, and I love there being a weekly checklist since that’s how my brain works. Absolutely worth the money and even better to be supporting Canadian and not worsening the environment!

I absolutely love it, love the paper, quality of the planner and more than enough space to write without making me feel overwhelmed. I meant to order the vertical as I very much wanted to try out that layout but there's always next year. Yes I will be buying again for sure

May sound a bit dramatic but these notebooks and planners have changed my whole journaling and organization game. I love them so much.

Really nice planner

I chose Hemlock & Oak after having used Hobonichi planners for the past several years. These were the things I prioritized in a planner for 2026: (1) A5 size, (2) weekly horizontal format, (3) weekly and monthly views, (4) quality paper, and (5) price. The Hemlock & Oak A5 Minimalist Horizontal Planner met all my criteria. Yes, it's a little pricier than an off-the-shelf planner, but the quality shows in the thickness of the cover, the flex binding, and how weighty the whole book is. I would have preferred even more minimalism: I don't expect to use the month-in-review pages at all. Also, the monthly views come between the weekly views (instead of monthly calendars gathered all in the front), so monthly calendars don't necessarily fall evenly between weeks. (For example, the April calendar follows the spread for the week of Mar. 23–Mar. 29.) I chose the Paper Flex cover because I like putting stickers on my planner. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and am happy to support a domestically made product!

Exactly as expected. Paper is substantial and takes fountain pen ink very well. Cant tell what the imperfections are.

This is the planner I've needed all along! It has everything I want, nothing I don't need. So thankful I found this company. The quality is top notch, the price is so reasonable, the customer service is incredible. I'm a customer for life!

OH_MY_STARS, five to be exact!! I am a planner officiando! This one hits ALL the marks: the perfect paper weight, the color of the ink, the dots/lines, the gorgeous cover, everything!! Can we talk about customer service and communication? They have been amazing! I always dreaded finding the perfect planner, because I was afraid it wouldn't be made after I fell in love. But this company took care of that, too. They will allow downloads of their products. All my planner anxieties are now quelled. And YES!! That is a real thing when your life revolves around your schedule. Next, I would LOVE to see a complimentary ON LINE version, so I can have my new favorite planner with me at ALL TIMES. I'm addicted!!
