Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything to join?
No — joining is free, and you get 50 points just for signing up.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Points need somewhere to live. Your account holds your balance, your tier, and your referral link — log in and tap “My Rewards” to see all of it.
How do I earn points?
Every tier earns at least 5 points per $1 spent — Silver, Gold, and VIP members earn more. You’ll also collect bonus points for things like taking our personality quiz, plus 500 points every year on your birthday.
How do I redeem points and check my balance?
Log in and head to “My Rewards.” Your balance is front and center along with every coupon you’re eligible for — redeem in a click and apply it at checkout.
I’m outside Canada — does this work for me?
Absolutely. Points are earned on the CAD value of your order, and reward coupons convert automatically to your currency at checkout.
Will my points expire?
Points have a 12-month shelf life from the day you earn them — and we’ll send you a heads-up by email about two weeks before any are due to expire.
How do I leave the program?
Email hello@hemlockandoak.com and ask to be unenrolled. A heads-up before you do: unenrolling forfeits any points you’ve accrued.
What if my points balance looks wrong?
If something’s not adding up, email hello@hemlockandoak.com — we’ll take a look, fix any issues, and get your points back on track.
