Most of our 2027 planners are in stock and ship from our Vancouver studio. Pre-orders launched on March 30, 2026, and began shipping in July.
If a layout or colour is still on pre-order, its product page will say so, and it ships as soon as it arrives. Orders ship in the order they are received.
This is our most ambitious collection yet — featuring custom bookcloth, new Archivist 120gsm paper, new layouts, sizes, and more. Given the scope, we'll be sharing progress along the way, and if timelines shift, you'll always hear from us first.
Pre-ordering guarantees your price, your spot, and your product - even if a layout sells out before it ships.
It also means something bigger: every pre-order directly funds production, from paper development to custom bookcloth. We're a community-driven company, and your support is what brings these products to life.
Your card is charged at the time you place your pre-order, not when it ships. This helps us plan production and ensures your spot is secured.
We do everything we can to ensure every pre-order is fulfilled exactly as placed. Pre-orders are always prioritized before any remaining stock goes to general sale.
In the rare case that a production issue affects your order — such as a colour or variant being unavailable, we will reach out directly with options to make sure you're happy with your purchase.
Pre-orders cannot be changed once placed, but can be cancelled within 30 days.
In rare cases where a specific product doesn't reach the minimum order quantity needed for production, we reserve the right to cancel and fully refund those pre-orders. We will always communicate this in advance.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, everything will ship together once all items are available.

My pre-order arrived in September and I can not wait for the next year so I can finally use this planner. The layout is a perfection I was waiting for all these years while using less than ideal planners. A month spread right before the weekly ones is so helpful for planning without shuffling to the very front of the planner, the extra pages after every month provide extra space for reflections, ideas and extra planning and having the weekly spread with days on the left and some open space on the right allows to jot down any additional stuff or just doodle.
PLUS - the tactile satisfaction of the fabric cover (I got mine in Moss Green)and the overall quality of the paper is fantastic and just inviting me to write. If I can use the word INSPIRING for a planner, then that's what this planner is.
I try to keep my life as analog as possible and I am so happy there are still companies out there that value slow, detailed craftsmanship that goes into creating sustainable, high quality items.

I adore my A5 minimalist horizontal planner, it has everything I need. The planner fits in my bag & holds all the notes I need. I write in it daily & it lays flat! My absolutely favourite planners! Before I found Hemlock and Oak I'd try a new planner every single year; I'd never bought the same type or brand of planner for more than one year. 2027 will be my third H&O planner, but my first time trying the horizontal version. I'm looking forward to it!

I am absolutely loving my 2026 A5 minimalist horizontal planner! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the paper and the excellent workmanship of the binding. The blue color is beautiful. I am normally a Happy Planner dashboard layout user, but I am really enjoying this minimalist horizontal layout. It gives me the perfect amount of space to write what I need and keep track of my weekly tasks. I'm already looking forward to continuing with this layout for 2027. Plus, I love, love that this is a Canadian company!

This is the most beautiful and most functional weekly planner I have ever used. To say I love it is an understatement. The layout, the beautiful cover, the subtle lines are all so carefully designed. And the paper!! Quality, density and surface texture of paper are so important to me, and the paper that H&O use is exquisite.
I have used many many planners over the years, this one is an order of magnitude above all the others.♥️

I like the layout, which is surprising because I generally like daily planners. But this one works. Having the extra space for notes is very good. The paper is lovely, smooth, no bleed through. A pleasure to write on.

Received this planner about a month ago. I love the cloth flex binding a lot! I love the interior paper as well. I like the size and the layout so far. A slightly smaller size may be more my style but I will know more as I use it! It makes me excited to use it so that’s a huge deal.

Very well made, high quality AND Canadian :D The paper is a great quality. The only reason why I am not putting 5 stars is that I prefer the "hobonichi-type" paper (thinner/softer paper), but if you like sturdier paper, this is THE product for you!

Had the soft cover previously but had to make a cover for it, so this year I jumped to hard cover and love it. Takes my pens and highlighters really well. Use it to plan and keep organized for my classes.

I love how simple and customizable this planner really is. Many planners out there have too much going on and don’t allow me to plan my weeks/months how I would like, but this one does. The quality is unreal and I always feel so put together when I take it out. I love how the weekends are the same size as the weekdays since I don’t work a usual 9-5, and I love there being a weekly checklist since that’s how my brain works. Absolutely worth the money and even better to be supporting Canadian and not worsening the environment!
