2026 Horizontal Planner

This is my second year with the Hemlock & Oak family and I will never go back. The planners are so well made, the aesthetic is ON point, and I love that I can collect all my planners and display them (because who doesn't love looking back and reading highlights from years ago!). This year I tried the 'Horizontal Planner' and I'm loving it - I found I had more "to-do" items than specific time sensitive ones, so I love all the free open space to plan the day.

I love my new planner! Hemlock and Oak always deliver. While the cover was supposed to be imperfect, I find myself liking the colour better! It’s my second year with this planner and I knew I wanted it back this year too!
The heading space on the weekly spreads are a bit smaller than last year and I still wish we had the option for the monthly calendars to start on Sunday but those are the only things I’d change in the future.
I’m already excited to organize the upcoming year!

Preliminary "moving in" to my 2026 planner reveals its greatest flaw - no monthly tabs as part of the design. The stickers I purchased as tabs block text no matter where they're put. Ideally, tabs would be at each monthly overview. So far that's the only flaw.

I am also a small business and have been looking for such a good business planner for so long. Here I have everything my business heart desires and much more.
I love making detailed notes and this gives me the opportunity to do so. Thank you very much for this

This planner has a wonderfully elegant aesthetic and is beautifully made. It's well priced for the quality of the product. This is both my first hardbound planner and my first horizontal, as I wanted to take more of a journaling approach to my planner this year. The horizontal format has been perfect for that, with a tidy, subtle page layout that's easy to customize.

The set-up pages at the beginning of the planner are also some of the best I've used: instead of pushing you to make changes in every arena of life, H&O emphasize personal values and setting a few intrinsically meaningful goals that you can work on at a sustainable pace.

I also got the monthly tabs--while a bit finnicky to apply at first, I found the challenge to be worth it to take my planner to the next level.

This planner has become a place I get excited to return to each day. Well done, H&O!

I use frixtion pens and just the act of erasing an error on the title page caused faint ink marks back to page 13 from the ink on the page before. TOC page, note before you go page, self reflection page, setting goals page all now have faint ink marks. The pages between don’t from what I can tell because they don’t have a solid color facing page. Very disappointing. So just the pressure of erasing causes these full colored pages to mark ink on facing pages. What will it look like by the end of the year?

Tia and her team are absolutely amazing! The weekly planner is the only one I have consistently used for 3 years now. It’s honestly been a life saver in keeping me organized. The minimalist B5 is now my absolute favourite! It’s got room for all my work, school, and coaching needs. I’m trying out the horizontal flex cover for work this year as well and love the space for notes to keep track of meetings/to do lists for the week. 10/10 recommend these for anyone who has struggled to find a planner that works consistently for them!

From opening the finely-wrapped package to applying the monthly tabs to beginning to fill out my 2025 schedule... I am loving this planner. I have been an avid journal for about 10+ years now and I have tried many different journals throughout that time. I have been using Hemlock and Oak planners for about four years now! They are absolutely gorgeous with amazing paper and just awesome and thoughtful in design!
This year, I decided to get the horizontal version and I am so excited for January to start planning and creating in my new journal! Thank you so much for making such a thoughtful and gorgeous product!

These books are a work of art. They are beautiful, feel good to write in and full of amazing details. All the accessories and add ons are high quality. These are now my go to journals and planners

I really wanted to love this. It was missing all the features I required. I tried using for a week and it was a disaster. I threw it out in recycling.

Beautiful and a layout that reminds me of my school days. It’s a lighter weight, more portable option that I’m using in addition to a daily & weekly for more detailed journaling. It’s a great quality and beautifully presented planner like all the Hemlock & Oak planners.

I bought this to work alongside a day-to-a-page planner I already use as I wanted more space for a monthly / weekly overview. So this is not carrying my daily "to do" lists or daily schedule, but lets me work on a broader month / week layout.

The opening sections are great - for reflection, values, goal setting and then the quarterly overviews were incredibly useful.

The paper and overall product quality is superb. When I did my usual pen test on a back page there was no obvious ghosting or bleed through.

I did also buy the monthly sticker tabs, in the same colourway as the planner, and would highly recommend those as an add-on to help navigate the planner.

I normally only use B5 size notebooks and planners as I prefer the extra space - this would be a little on the small side for me as a daily planner - but this works brilliantly for what I wanted it for.

Absolutely beautiful planner. Unfortunately, it's not for me right now, but it's a great product.

I do like the simple layout, however it doesn't have a page marker or tear tabs at the bottom, so it's frustrating to pick it up and search for where I need to be, yes I know I can buy one but at this price point I don't want to be spending more money. I would have also liked a skinny version where it was just the weekly or monthly on one side and plain on the side with nothing in between the weeks, no goals etc.

This is my third or fourth year buying a Hemlock and Oak planner.They're absolutely beautiful, love getting a different colour every year. The sections are thoughtful and enjoyable to fill out and the horizontal layout lends itself to daily note taking.

I love the quality of these products, and recently bought a 2026 Horizontal Planner. The format works well for my needs. My only feedback for improvement would be in the monthly view. This planner uses a Monday - Sunday view, while every other calendar I use goes Sunday through Saturday. It's a small thing, but when I'm syncing my notes it's a bit clunky. Other than that, I really love this product.

Loveeee! After years of buying planners, I’ve finally found the layout that works for me. Plenty of space on the right spread to brain dump the week’s priorities, and then list out each days’ priorities on the left. The cover imperfections are so slight on the cover, I hardly notice. I’m a huge H&O fan because of their paper quality and minimalist design aesthetic. High quality product that makes me happy to use multiple times a day, week after week.

I love this planner. I have used it for years and now so many of my colleagues do as well since I have not stopped talking about how great it is… for years.

Literally in love with it. I have really bad ADHD and I have used so many planners and nothing seems to ever work but I think the versitality of this planner has really helped me keep myself organized for work, personal life, and family. The first page on the left for a given week is great for to-do lists and then the right side of the page is empty for me to make my own verison of things I need to prioritize and design for my health, appointments, meals, etc.
