This is my first hardcover planner from Hemlock & Oak, and I am obsessed.
I needed a one-day-per-page planner for journaling, with a two-page-per-month calendar for planning. I was thrilled to find this hardcover planner that had both and in my favorite color. The moss green textured cover with gold embossing is stunning. It is classy and looks so professional on my desk at work. It makes a good impression on anyone who sees me with it.
Each of the two daily duo planners are the perfect size and weight. Small enough to carry with me, but big enough to meet my planning and journaling needs. I love the look and feel of it, like a favorite hardcover book that I just can’t put down. And the paper is so thick and luxurious that writing on it is indulgent. The neutral colors and light print are easy enough to see while remaining unobtrusive. And the weight of the paper handles all of my favorite inks and markers. I can use my treasured stamps without worrying about bleed-through.
I ordered my daily duo with one matching elastic and I am so glad I did. If you like a closure on your planner or journal, these elastics are superb. I also ordered the brass heritage pen. It is beautiful! The weight and balance of this pen makes it my new favorite. My preferred ink refills fit perfectly. And I am enjoying the patina that develops with use.
I was so pleased with my purchase that I came back to H&O and ordered an undated version with the same moss green textured hardcover. I just could not wait until next year to start using this gorgeous planner. I’ve been planning and journaling in it for several weeks now and cannot say enough good things about it. The quality and functionality of H&O products is unparalleled. I highly recommend.

Great planner! The paper is a nice weight and handles fountain pens well - no ghosting! Good layout - minimal fluff so not too many pages wasted on things I will never use.

I am very impressed with my planner. H&O delivered my pre-order before they promised by almost an entire month. The quality of the product is outstanding. I am especially impressed with the binding and it's ability to lay flat when opened in the middle from day one. I also love the thick, white pages. This is a very wll thought out and constructed product.
Pros : it's flexible and light weight, similar to a midori or hobonichi, you can decorate the cover however you want. The scarlet oak coulour is lovely.
Cons : you don't have ribbons so navigating the planner isn't easy (you need to go back and forth between monthly view, weekly pages and habits cultivation). Like another reviewer said it would be nice to have a minimalist version without the extra journaling pages.
Perspectives : I wish H&O offer covers for their planner. Finding covers for a size that not really A5 is not easy in my country.
Overall, the undated horizontal flex covers are my favourite ones in the entire planners line-up.
This is my first time trying a physical product from Hemlock and oak and I am so happy I decided to order this undated Planner. I love ut so much!! The paper is amazing and I love the cloth flex cover! Everything is great! Definitely will be ordering another product really soon!!!
This is my second Hemlock & Oak weekly planner, and it is my Perfect Planner. The design works well for me— encouraging me to plan and organize my time more effectively. The paper quality makes using it a pleasure. The slightly sparkly cover adds a bit of joy.

I was an avid bullet journaler until found these weekly planners. For methere's just enough, the setup for the weekly layout is perfect, and.i can adjust the reflection pages as needed to make covers or othersections as I need

Amazing quality and thoughtful design. The layout is beautiful, clean and crisp. I love the components for reflection and self care, they are so important. I did have concerns about the quality given I wasn't getting a hardback but it is high quality and I haven't had any issues with a bent or fraying corners!
