My 4th year using this planner - it’s so good
These are some of the most beautiful planners and journals I have ever had. Clean lines, beautiful layout, and a little sparkle. Perfectly suited for me.

After purchasing three Hemlock & Oak planners from their discounted 2026 collection to test before committing to my 2027 system, I can confidently say this one is my favorite! The B5 size is absolutely perfect, offering plenty of writing space for both my professional and personal planning without feeling overwhelming.
The layout is thoughtfully designed, functional, and beautiful. From the exceptional paper quality to the elegant fonts and attention to detail, everything is simply perfection!

Wonderful color, expensive qualiy
Beautiful, high quality planners, fantastic customer service and Canadian…what’s not to love.
The diary feels luxurious. The paper is thick and there is no bleed through with most pens. I primarily use fountain pen and the webpage have ample warning about it not showing the sheen/shimmer attributes. Fortunately I don’t tend to use those inks for work.
This is my fifth year with Hemlock&Oak!
I like that the minimalist planner now has two blank pages between the months instead of the reflection prompts.

This is my 12th year using a paper planner and I've never used the same company twice...until now. I loved my 2026 H&O so much that I sprung on the 2027 pre-sale. From the page thickeness and quality to small details and page setup, I've finally found a planner that works perfectly for me!

The paper the hard back antique book look and feel. I can’t get enough of these notebooks. I love the size, the lay open flat. Make great presents.
The quality of the daily journals I received is outstanding. I bought a set last year, and then again this year, and the quality was consistent.

My pre-order arrived in September and I can not wait for the next year so I can finally use this planner. The layout is a perfection I was waiting for all these years while using less than ideal planners. A month spread right before the weekly ones is so helpful for planning without shuffling to the very front of the planner, the extra pages after every month provide extra space for reflections, ideas and extra planning and having the weekly spread with days on the left and some open space on the right allows to jot down any additional stuff or just doodle.
PLUS - the tactile satisfaction of the fabric cover (I got mine in Moss Green)and the overall quality of the paper is fantastic and just inviting me to write. If I can use the word INSPIRING for a planner, then that's what this planner is.
I try to keep my life as analog as possible and I am so happy there are still companies out there that value slow, detailed craftsmanship that goes into creating sustainable, high quality items.

I adore my A5 minimalist horizontal planner, it has everything I need. The planner fits in my bag & holds all the notes I need. I write in it daily & it lays flat! I love this Vancouver company & it keeps me coming back! I have bought my planner there 2 years running. The paper, durability, and saturated colours are to dye for (pun intended).
This is the perfect daily planner. The black cloth cover is fantastic.
This is a great notepad for jotting down quick notes to give to friends and family.
