After five years of shipping through every holiday season, we're doing something radical: taking a break.

This should have been done much, much sooner. However, I found it too easy to fall into the trap of the never-ending capitalist "always on" lifestyle. There have been a lot of years that George and I worked during Christmas. We had to ask ourselves: "what are we actually doing this for?". We already work almost every day of the year.

This year, we moved into our new warehouse in four days flat while trying to keep shipping operations running. The late nights and burnout have been real for everyone on our small team. With recurring and chronic injuries, as well as our small team getting burned out, life has once again reminded me that our bodies are finite resources that need and deserve rest.

Therefore: our warehouse team will be off from December 22nd–26th, with shipping resuming Monday, December 29th. Orders placed during the closure will ship as soon as possible when we resume on the 28th.
