Frequently Asked Questions

When will my planner ship?

We do our best to ship within 2-3 business days or sooner, depending on volume. This can be longer during high volume seasons, such as the holidays.
Please note there is a lot of hand work involved (for example, we attach every single charm individually), and we process all orders as quickly as we can.

What shipping services do you use?

We use either UPS or Canada Post when we ship parcels both domestically and internationally. The cost of shipping is subsidized on our side (unless the free shipping threshold is met).

What happens if I purchase something in-stock with a pre-order item?

Please order separately if you would like in-stock items to arrive sooner (or contact us so that we can adjust your order). We will otherwise ship your pre-order together with in-stock items, so that we can reduce packaging waste and cut down on unncessary carbon emissions.

What do I do if I'm moving/changing my address?

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible about an address change. We will do our best to get this information updated before your order is sent out. Email hello@hemlockandoak, and please include: your order number, new address and any other details. You can also respond to your order confirmation email!

What do I do for a time sensitive parcel?

Please select express shipping at checkout and send an email to hello@hemlockandoak.com so we are fully aware of the urgency; we can do our best to help you with other shipping upgrades.

I am a planner junkie and Hemlock & Oak is the best! The paper quality, the cover quality and the layout. All well thought out and luxurious. They don't sacrifice practicality for design or vice versa. AND it's sustainable, eco-friendly! AND their customer service is impeccable. For example - they had discontinued a color I liked and when I asked about it because I like to save my planners year to year and have them be all the same color, they pointed out they do repeat black or black adjacent every year. Just happens the Wisteria color I like will not repeat. BUT they would make one for me using some leftover Wisteria book cloth for 2025! Though they could not guarantee that Wisteria would be back for 2026 that was a phenomenal gesture! Great customer service to match their product quality!!

I love this planner and have been using it in place of my teacher planner. 💕💕

Favorite planner

I’ve just started using the academic after using an undated weekly. I’m also using a 2024 minimalist. I can’t decide which one is my favorite because they’re all so awesome! I never thought I would need two planners but it’s been helpful to keep me on track at work and with my organizations and activities. I thought maybe a daily would work but I need the visual of an entire week to see where I’m headed so this is working extremely well.
